The United States Department of War

Concerned about the way in which the United States Department of War – as set up in 1789 was going, Henry Clay, then a Kentucky state Rep., warned anyone listening about, “feeding and enabling a system that will suck out the best out of this land and turn Americans into wildings in every corner of their own homes”.

To Senator Calhoun, he asked, “what becomes of the American if a home is no longer a safe haven?”. A question to which he got no reply from the South Carolina Senator.

Undeterred by the lack of acknowledgement from the Senator, he then commented, “Ah! I see, we are setting up the turtle on a tree, when in actual fact, turtles aren’t naturally known to climb trees. I fear for what is to become of all Americans”.

To any Irish farmer in the western frontier in the late 1700’s or to those black orchard farmers north of Bowery street in New York, the term “Turtle on a tree” or a sudden shout out of “Turtle, Turtle, Turtle” is an alert and a warning call to go grab your arms and be ready to fence off an attack by Native Indians.

Today, this department headed by the Secretary of State and the SecDef I see as not just a turtle sitting on a tree, but a turtle sitting on a fence and looking in to our homes.

It is the only department that has always dissuade our elected officials from pursuing domestic American policies.  It is the only department that has always moved our elected officials from doing things that will benefit Americans.

If elected President 2024, I would do three things:

  • tame this “turtle on a tree” to see what is wrong with America and what needs to be fixed at home by redirecting it’s gaze, and point off interest.
  • reduce it’s power and influence through an admin tool
  • return to the care of Methodists and Baptists church ministers. They were not Popes nor anointed Cardinals of the Church of England, yet they helped set up and establish Liberia in 1822.

Getting rid of the foreign arm of this department and returning our military to the days of when it was called “The Army of the United States” is the only guaranteed way to start a long process of re-building America Today.

Penal or Paternal

Penal or Paternal?: “Put me in charge! And watch me refocus the military, repurpose the congress and ReBuildUSAtoday”.

Manhattan, August 8th, 2024.

Penal or paternal, both are systems of governing we inherited from the British.  One punishes and keeps on punishing whilst the other operates with a duty of care to make everyone a busy, reasonable, responsible and law abiding citizen. Penal system is a better way to waste resources.  Paternal is rewarding and productive because it makes everyone part of the wheel.

As Mitt Romney once said, “every American carry a baggage and it is our duty as elected officials to help relieve them of this worrisome baggage that is weighing them down”.  That is because we’ve been running on a penal system for so long and it is catching up on us.

High employment, low inflation and low cost of living could not be achieved because our current penal conditions are not suitable for growth.  Our government need to do away with policies that lead to high unemployment and high inflation. Cutting food stamps, healthcare and reducing spending on social services for the poor, is not the way to go.

Things could be turned around for every American household if we join hands with this campaign to shift to a paternal system by The Know-Nothing Party.

As a Know-Nothing Republican candidate for President 2024,  I’d love to grow the economy.  I’d love to create a sustainable external balance for the country.  I’d love to take us back into a paternal system because it is a system that does not take unemployment for granted.  It does not push wages ahead of productivity.  It does not resist the introduction of new technologies and neither does it resist the introduction of new work practices.

Let’s take commercial driving in a our own penal system as an example.  Many Americans today, cannot get a CDL license or a class E license to help facilitate moving people, moving goods and enabling supplies back and forth, because they have a string of violations, DUI’s and minor infractions that occurred during their teenage years on record.

And in today’s America, many cannot drive for a living because of high insurance cost. Employers do background check and are not encouraged to give them a pass to a liquid-cash-job that was created to pay back school loans – if you are a fresh graduate.

Jobs like this have gone to new others who are now buying homes and raising kids whilst we condemn our own to life long unemployment.

I’d love to flip the script on this. Grant a blanket pardon to all Americans – of workimg age, with DUI’s and other violations that have been impeding them from getting a job since Clinton was in office.  Exerting unusual punishment and contimuing it till eternity for supporting their own local brewery is not only cruel and unjust, it is a violation of their 8th.

This practise must be brought to an end.  That’s why I said, “Put me in charge! And watch me ReBuildUSAtoday”.

Follow my campaign and help spread the word about The Know-Nothing Party of America.

The only way Republicans could win this election

The only way Republicans could win this election against Kamala Harris is to push the current Republican House GOP to enact a resolution that would allow the likes of Richard Pryor’s J Bone and those like him to vote.

Who is J Bone? Well,  J Bone is a lifer, condemned to serve three life sentences. He lives in the only place in America where you’ll find the highest population of true Americans like him lumped together in one place.

They all have extended families, nephews, cousins and nieces – all of whom would be too happy to start voting Republicans for the next 500 years or more, if we push Kevin McCarthy to enact a J Bone Act – a resolution and a 2024 election statutory tool that will allow the likes of Richard Pryor’s J Bone to start participating in elections by voting and donating to campaigns while incarcerated.

The resolution should also make room for those that are of retirement age in prison to be released back to their families, so long as they have served more than half their sentences.

Point I’m getting at here is, with over 11 million immigrants on the voters list in Democrat controlled states like New York, Massachusetts, California, etc, the only way Republican could gain control of the House, the Senate and win the Presidency is to pass a law that will allow prisoners to vote in the next Presidential election as well as enabling them to start participating in elections.

They might not be qualified on their own – if we go by the Constitution, but one thing we can not and must not deny them of is their Grand fathers’ rights. It is inalienable.

Ever wondered why Trump is blindly mad about stolen election in 2020? It is because of the numbers from these democratic states.

Immigrants in our midst

At the onset of the American Civil War, we had recently arrived economic migrants from Europe – mostly Irish. Come Spanish American war, we had a mixture of Spanish, Irish and Italian economic migrants. In WWI, WWII and the Cuban Bay of Pigs invasion, we had the benefit of adding a broad array of European Jews into the midst of immigrants we happily shipped off to war.

They got fed, clothed and paid in all of these wars. And when they came back, we declare our cities veteran free – so these battle tested veterans could move and settle in other areas outside our big cities.

Today, there are over 11 million economic immigrants in California, New York, Mass., Florida and a few other welcoming states. They are not only a burden to local tax payers, they are a burden to low income Americans who need jobs, housing and benefits to get by.

Rather than ship them off to war in Ukraine – where they’ll be fed, clothed and paid for their services, they’ve added the whole lot of 11 million of them onto the voters’ list.

If we need to see an abrupt end to the flow of immigrants into our southern border, I suggest we start impressing them to war in Ukraine or wherever there is a yummy fight to savor.

Tax and Tariff

Tax and tariff.

Tax, George Washington called it “a burden on the common folk” if excessively applied”.

Tariff, one might think it is the manufacturer of goods that is being targeted with a specific duty levied against a particular product.  But if we look at the cost of Americas first beer, say,  Schaffers that costs a mere 99c before the pandemic, now going for $3.50, then, George Washington – immediately after his inauguration at St. Paul’s chapel in 1789, was right to point out that, “tax or tariff, no one feels it more than the ordinary folk who labors day and night”.

George Washington is long and gone, but what he said on that late April day of 1789 is true of the state of every working American today.

And if “every single American has a baggage they carry around with them” as Mitt Romney said in one of his video clips, then, I Abbey Laurel-Smith, a Know-Nothing Republican candidate for President, USA 2024, therefore see it as a duty to help relieve all Americans of the burden placed on their shoulders as well as on their entire household.

I believe no country has ever prospered by taxing its citizens to hell. And no economy has ever been revived or energized by taxing main economic drivers to a point where they have nothing more to give.  We as a nation can therefore not tax our way to prosperity.

We can however do what was done after the American civil war till 1941 – when everything changed because of America’s entrance into WWII and because of fashionable interests, and go back to:

  • Developing our economy the American way by reducing our dependency on landlords or those holders of properties that are actually not extracting anything from the land, in favor of farmers and extractors of mineral resources.
  • Shift to a physiocratic economy system as a way for opening up supply lines as well as boosting innovation and small businesses at all levels.

I will even go further by proposing we go back to our protestant roots as a nation. Do what Edward I, King of England did when his Kingdom was in this same situation 900 years ago. Like the King, I will jumpstart the economy nationwide, by making it sustainable, secure, safe and affordable for all by:

  • nullifying inflated rates nationwide, cancelling out all speculated rates nationwide, then enact a return to value rate.
